Lucky Igohosa Ugbudian

Dr Lucky Igohosa Ugbudian lectures at the Department of History and Strategic, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Nigeria and presently a Visiting Fellow at Institute of History, University of Bern, Switzerland. He trained at the University of Ibadan for BA-History and MA-Peace and Conflict Studies while in 2022 obtained PhD in History and International Studies at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Dr Ugbudian areas of research include African history, cultural heritage, Global South-Global North relations, colonialism, social movement, migration and environment, peace and conflict studies, transnational studies. He has published a number of papers in journals, chapters in books and conference proceedings. Dr Ugbudian has won some awards, namely, Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship, Coimbra Scholarship, Dubawa-Nigeria fellowship, MIASA writing and TETFund Research grants.
