Syed Khawaja Alqama

Syed Khawaja Alqama graduated from Government College University (Lahore). He holds a PhD in International Relations (IR) from the University of Kent Canterbury, a MA in IR from the University of Kent Canterbury and a M.S.C in IR from the Quaid Azam University Islamabad. He is also author of a book entitled Bengali elites’ perception of Pakistan, Road to disillusionment. Uneven development and Ethnicity. Dr Alqama has also served as Pakistan Ambassador to Yemen from 2009 to 2011. He is ex-VC of BZU from 2011 to 2015. Presently, he is the Dean of Social Sciences at the Minhaj University Lahore. He belongs to the well-known Khawaja Nawab family of Bengal. His uncle Khawaja Nazimuddin was the second Governor General and second Prime Minister of Pakistan.
