Pierre Laconte, Dr of Laws and Dr of Economics (Louvain University), Dr h.c. (Edinburg Napier University). Appointed in 1968 with R. Lemaire & J.P. Blondel to draw the Louvain new university town development plan and architectural coordination (1982 Abercrombie Award of the International Union of Architects).
