Paul Arthur

Paul Arthur is professor of medieval archaeology at the University of Salento and president of the Italian Society of Medieval Archaeologists (SAMI). He has worked in England, France, Israel, Libya, Turkey and Ukraine, and now concentrates on Italy, where his recent fieldwork includes the excavation of the Castle of Charles V and the town walls of Lecce.
