Nabeila Akbar

Nabeila Akbar is a professor in political science, has served Higher Education Department for 34 years. She has written many research articles published in HEC recognized journal at national and international level. She is also an author of book chapter, named Democracy is a Culture rather than a Process in Law Governance and Democracy: A global Concern, edited by Vikash Kumar Vinobha, Abahavy University, India, 2018 published in India. She is a member of the Board of Studies, Political Science Department, Punjab University and in Minhaj University. She has also served as visiting faculty in the Political Science Department and FAST University. Her area of specialization is identity politics in South Asia and she is a keen observer of national and international politics, especially regarding Central Asia and south Asia Relations. Nabeila’s research dissertation in M. Phil. thesis was on Pakistan and Central Asian relations, perspectives and prospects. She is PhD in Politics of Emotions in South Asia – a case study of Punjab in the perspective of Caste Emotions. Her PhD is from Punjab University and M. Phil is from Government College University Lahore. Besides, Saba Farooq Hussain is an undergraduate student at the Political Science Department of the Government Islamia Graduate College for Women Cooper Road, Lahore, Pakistan. She did her internships in the Punjab Provincial Assembly and the Lahore High Court, two notable public sector organizations. Nabia Latif is a political science undergraduate student at the Government Islamia Graduate College for Women in Cooper Road, Lahore. She has completed her internship at the “Five News” private news channel. Both students assisted the principal authors.
