Monica Turci
Monica Turci is Associate Professor in English linguistics and translation at the University of Bologna. Her research areas include stylistics and multimodality. Her work in stylistics has applied the Systemic Functional Grammar model to the analysis of literary texts, including Migratory by Australian poet Les Murray and Joseph Conrad’s novella Heart of Darkness. With Donna R. Miller she has co-edited Language and Verbal Art Revisited: Linguistic Approaches to the Study of Literature (Equinox 2007).
