Marina Manfredi

Marina Manfredi is Associate Professor in English Language and Translation at the University of Bologna, Italy, in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. She teaches Systemic Functional Linguistics for undergraduate students and Translation Studies for postgraduates. Her main research interests lie in the field of Translation Studies, investigated through linguistic-cultural approaches. She published articles and books in the area of translation teaching, with special focus on Systemic Functional Linguistics and translation. Her most recent work and publications focus on media translation (news and popular science), audiovisual translation (especially of multicultural television series) and museum translation, including museum accessibility.
