Jordan Lavender

Jordan Lavender is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Texas A&M University. Since receiving his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 2022, he has been the Postdoctoral Research Associate in Medieval Philosophy at Purdue University. His research focuses on theories of consciousness, intentionality, and sensation in medieval and early modern philosophy. His current projects examine these themes in fourteenth-century scholasticism and in seventeenth-century Cartesianism.
