Fernando Aliata

Fernando Aliata was born in La Plata in 1953. He is an Architect (UNLP) and a Doctor in History (UBA). Between 1983 and 1986, he did postgraduate studies at the IUAV, Italy. He is currently a full professor at FAU UNLP, as well as deputy director of the HITEPAC institute. He has been president of the Argentine Association of Researchers in History and director of the Doctorate at FAU UNLP. He has published various articles and books on the history of architecture and the city, referring mainly to the first half of the 19th century and the second half of the 20th century.
