Claudia Minniti

Claudia Minniti is professore associato at the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Salento (Lecce), where currently teaches bioarchaeology, zooarchaeology, the history of animal domestication and is co-head of the laboratory of zooarchaeology. Her research concerns the study of the animal remains coming from different Italian and foreign archaeological sites (among them, Great Britain, Syria, Turkey, Iran and Iraq) of different chronological periods, from the Neolithic (6th millennium BC) to the post medieval age. To date, her work has converged in over 70 talks at national and international congresses and in 120 publications in scientific journals, chapters in monothematic volumes, conference proceedings and monograph.
