Assunta Marrocchi

Assunta Marrocchi received her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the University of Perugia (Italy). She is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology at the same Institution. Her education and professional career are essentially focused on organic synthesis directed towards a large variety of topics, including sustainable chemical processes for the biomass valorisation; sustainable synthesis of advanced organic materials for electronics; development and study of heterogeneous catalysts for the preparation of complex molecules.
