Asifa Jahangir

Asifa Jahangir is an Assistant Professor at Political Science Department in Government Islamia Graduate College for Women, Lahore (Pakistan) and a former Exchange Doctorate Scholar from Arizona State University, United States. She has recently completed her post doctorate. She has expertise in Afghanistan and South Asian geopolitics and international relations. Asifa has published several articles in national and international journals. In her upcoming book Afghanistan under the shadow of Pakistan-India Geopolitics (Routledge Press), she has devised an extended branch of realism named “unintended consequence” and re-conceptualized the idea of Great Game into Grand Great Game or 3G.
