Antonella Luporini

Antonella Luporini is Senior Assistant Professor in English language, linguistics and translation with the University of Bologna (LILEC Department). Her main research interests are in the areas of corpus-assisted stylistics, metaphor studies and Critical Discourse Analysis. With Donna R. Miller – her former MA thesis and PhD supervisor – she has worked extensively on the application of corpus methods to the analysis of verbal art within Hasan’s SSS framework and its pedagogical applications, also as part of the CeSLiC research project “SSS, the corpus, and the consumer”.
