Alain Servantie
Alan Servantie, born in 1947 in Bordeaux, graduated in law, political sciences and sociology. Joined the European Commission in 1971. Appointments include: deputy head of the EEC office in Ankara; head of the Turkish team and advisor on interinstitutional issues in the DG Enlargement. Retired in November 2012. Since 2017, coordinator of the scientific committee of the cooperation network of Routes of Emperor Charles V. Published several articles on historical relations with Turkey.
